# About — Jaru

Jaru is a pseudonymous independent developer building tools, agents, products, and browser games.

## Who Jaru is

Jaru ("Just A Dev") is a pseudonym. The work is by one developer, published on GitHub as [Whaith](https://github.com/Whaith). This site is the portfolio: every project, what state it is in, and where it runs.

I build tools for the work I actually do: code maps, agents that clear the inbox, a workspace that knows where everything lives. Then, when the tools behave, small worlds to wander around in.

Most of it starts as a private itch and ships once it survives daily use. Some of it stays an experiment. All of it gets the same care: fewer moving parts, honest states, and software that stays quiet until it is needed.

## What gets built

- Systems (6): The machinery behind clearer work.
- Products (5): Useful things with opinions.
- Agents (4): Quiet software that handles the fiddly parts.
- Worlds (10): Places to get pleasantly lost.

25 projects in all; 14 have a public deployment and the rest are private tools or unreleased builds. Each one has its own page under [Work](https://jaru.dev/work).

## This site

jaru.dev is a Next.js site on Vercel. The landing page is a WebGPU particle field (with a Canvas fallback) that forms each project's shape; everything it shows also exists as plain text on the Work pages, as markdown, and through the API.

There are no clients, testimonials, prices, or usage numbers here because there are none to report. Questions go through the [contact page](https://jaru.dev/contact).
